اعتقلت قوة مسلحة من جهاز الأمن والدعم السريع في وقت متأخر من مساء الأثنين الموافق 3 ابريل الشيخ مطر يونس علي حسين وهو كفيف من منزله بحي الاستاد بمدينة زالنجي عاصمة ولاية وسط دارفور . ويعد الشيخ المعتقل من أبرز زعماء الادارة الاهلية والقيادة الدينية بمدينة زالنجي .حيث أخذ إلى جهة غير معلومة .وقال تعميم صادر عن المنسقية العامة للنازحين " اتهمت فيه الأجهزة الأمنية للنظام بأختطاف الشيخ مطر واقتياده إلى جهة غير معلومة، وأبدت المنسقية خشيتها من تصفيته جسديا نتيجة لمواقفه الصلبة المنددة بالحرب والظلم ووقوفه المستمر مع قضايا النازحين.

A blind sheikh arrested in Zalingi Town

The Sudanese National Security Agency and the Special forces, late on Monday evening apprehended Matar Unis Ali Hussein, a well-known blind local religious leader and zone chief of Zalingi town and detained him at an unknown location.
The Headquarters of the High Commission for the displaced people of Darfur expressed their disappointment and worry upon hearing this news. They are afraid that he may be killed while in detention because he had expressed his opposition to the on the ongoing ethnic war in the Darfur region and the injustices of the government to the region and especially the displaced people.
