النيابة تفتح بلاغات تصل عقوبتها الإعدام ضد رئيس حزب الأمة

نيابة الجرائم الموجهة ضد الدولة تفتح بلاغات ضد رئيس حزب الأمة القومي الصادق المهدي وآخرين تحت مواد تصل عقوبة بعضها الإعدام أو السجن المؤبد. وذلك بعد ساعات من إعلان الرئيس عمر البشير بإتخاذ إجراءات ضد الأحزاب المتحالفة مع المسلحين. ووجه وكيل النيابة الأعلى معتصم عبد الله بتقييد دعاوي تحت المواد (21/ 25/ 26/ 50/ 51/ 53/ 63/ 66) من القانون الجنائي والمادتين (5 و6) من قانون مكافحة الإرهاب "على خلفية توقيع المهدي بوصفه رئيساً لحزب الأمة القومي المسجل لإعلان مع قوى (نداء السودان) بباريس قبل أسبوعين . ويضم التحالف أحزابا سياسية على رأسها حزبي الأمة والمؤتمر السوداني إلى جانب حركات مسلحة تقاتلها الحكومة في دارفور وجنوب كردفان والنيل الأزرق. وتشير المواد التي فتحت في مواجهة المهدي تحت طائلة القانون الجنائي تشمل: "الاشتراك الجنائي، التحريض، المعاونة، تقويض النظام الدستوري، وإثارة الحرب ضد الدولة، التجسس على البلاد، الدعوة لمعارضة السلطة العامة بالعنف أو القوة الجنائية، ونشر الأخبار الكاذبة". والتي تصل عقوبتها الإعدام أو السجن المؤبد .

Hours after the president of the Sudan, Umar Al-Bashir made his intention to take the necessary steps to persecute the opposition leaders who signed the treaty Nidda Al-Sudan treaty in Paris, two weeks ago, the leader in charge of handling crimes against the state, Mutasiim Abdullah, opened up cases against them.
Among those who attended the conference included; Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi the president of the Umma political party, other head opposition leaders, representative of the armed forced in Darfur, the Blue Nile region and South Kurd-fan, and other opposition members in diaspora.
They were charged with breaking over eight chapters of the constitution like; Chapter 5 subsection 6 which is the law against terrorism and Chapters 21/25/26/50/51/53/63/66 of the Sudanese constitution and these state that; one partaking in attempting to overthrow the democratically elected government, spying against one’s country, trying to insight war, spreading of false information, attempting to change the constitutional order and threatening unrest in the country.
These charges could lead to them either being executed or sentenced to life imprisonment.
