اعتقال ناشط حقوقي بمنواشي وترحيله الي نيالا .

اعتقلت قوة عسكرية تتبع للاستخبارات العسكرية الناشط الحقوقي خطاب سيف الدين من منطقة منوشي بجنوب دارفور ، وجرت عملية إعتقال خطاب عقب تنظيمه لاحتفال ضخم بمنطقة منواشي للإحتفال بمرور خمس أعوام على مشروع القراءة من أجل التغيير . اشتمل الاحتفال على ندوة تعريفية بمجلة الحداثة الصادرة عن المشروع ، معرض كتاب ، وتشجير لمدارس منواشي. وأفاد ناشط من منواشي فضل حجب هويته " أن الاحتفال تم بعد إبلاغ الشرطة المحلية بمكان وغرض وزمن الاحتفال". ومضى قائلاً "عقب الاحتفال حضرت قوة عسكرية من الاستخبارات قامت بإعتقال خطاب ، ولم توضح أسباب الاعتقال، وحين طالبنا بزيارته أبلغونا شفاهة بترحيله إلى مكتب الاستخبارات بمدينة نيالا" . يقول "الى الآن لم يسمح لعائلته بزيارته ولا يعرف علي وجه الدقة مكانه! هل لا زال لدى الاستخبارات في نيالا ام سلم لجهاز الأمن كما لم يقدم بعد للمحاكمة".

National security intelligence apprehended, Khatab Saiph Al-Din as he left the celebrations of the five-year anniversary of Reading for Change Project, a non-government organization he had established. The celebrations included the introduction of a magazine called ‘Al-Hadassah’, that talked about the work of the project and it also included a book festival and planting of trees in the schools in Mon-Washi.
He was detained despite the fact that the Project had obtained permission from the local authorities to hold the festival. He was taken to an unknown location and was detained without trial, and was denied visitation form either family or friends.
The witness to this wanted to remained anonymous, because of fear for his safety from the government which endlessly pursues those that seek to enlighten others about their rights.
