قتلى وجرحى محلية الدالي والمزموم نتيجة للدافع من أجل الحصول على الماء

لقى الطالب الوعيرة أحمد الوعيرة البالغ من العمر17 عام مصرعه صعقا بالكهرباء وجرح إثنين أخرين، جراء تدافع الأهالي صوب (صهريج المياه) بغرض الحصول علي المياه المعدومة بمحلية الدالي والمزموم الواقعة بولاية سنار.
فيما وصل سعر برميل المياه غير النقية بالمزموم 150 جنيه . على الرغم من أن ولاية سنار التي تضم محليتي الدالي والمزموم الواقعة على حدود دولة جنوب السودان ، تعتبر من أكثر الولايات التي توجد بها مصادر طبيعية للمياه وتجري فيها ثلاثة أنهار (النيل الأزرق، الدندر والرهد).
ويعاني مواطني الدالي والمزموم من شح مياه الشرب للإنسان والحيوان ويعتمدون في الشرب على مياه الترع . وقال أحد الأهالي " أن مصدر المياه الوحيد لهم إستمر في الإنقطاع لمدة ثلاثة أيام متواصلة مما عرض عشرات الآلاف من المواطنين ومواشيهم للعطش. وأوضح أن المياه تضخ لمحطة المزموم عبر أنابيب ضخمة من ود النيل بالنيل الأزرق وتقطع مسافة 150 كيلو مترا قبل أن تصل المزموم لترفع في الصهريج وتوزع على المواطنين عن طريق الشبكة الداخلية.
وافاد الأستاذ الهادي ونه ( أن مشروع توفير مياه المزموم يغطى مساحة إثنين مليون ومئتان وخمسون ألف فدان ، وتعمل به الآن فقط ثلاث طلمبات بدلا عن ستة وتجاهلت الحكومة صيانة الطلمبات والتوصيلات الكهربائية وخطوط الشبكة الداخلية إزاء هذا الوضع ضعفت المحطة مقارنة بعدد القرى وأصبح المشروع عاجز عن توفير حتى المياه لمواطني الدالي والمزموم وجميع القرى ) . ومضى قائلاً هذا الإهمال المقصود أدى إلى تشريد الرعاة والمواطنين الرحل .كما أفشل الموسم الزراعي تماما المتعلق بالخضروات من أجل الاكتفاء الذاتي وتفاقمت الحالة الاقتصادية المزرية لمواطنين ).
الجدير بالذكر أن مدينة الدالي والمزموم زارها الرئيس عمر حسن أحمد البشير واحتفى واحتفل بتوصيل مياه النيل للمدينة وقال بالحرف الواحد ان المزموم ودعت العطش بلا رجعة وبعدها تم إهمال الحفائر والتي كانت توفر للمواطنين حتى اصتياد الأسماك وتعد مصدر لمياه لأهل المحلية واهدرت مليارات الجنيهات فى سد ابوقرود الذي إنهار بعد افتتاحه مباشرة.

Ahmad Al-Wa-era a seventeen-year old boy was killed and two others were injured when they fell onto electric wires as people struggled to get water from a water tank in the sub county of Adalli and Al-Mazmoom. The state of Sinaar is one with the most water resources in the country with three rivers running through it, the Blue Nile, Al- Dindir and Rahad. Despite this, the residents are still suffering to get safe water and have resorted to obtaining water from the canals that are irrigating the plantations.
Al-Hadi, one of the residents said that they would go for up to three days with no water which has resulted into thirst to both people and their livestock. He went on to say that the water was pumped to the sub county from Wad Al-Nile, a reservoir along the Blue Nile where six huge water pumps pushed it through huge pipes that ran for 150 kilometers and poured it into various big tanks in Al-Mazmoom that then supplied it to over 2,250,000 Hectares and the villages around.
Due to neglect from the authorities and poor maintenance, only three of the six pumps are functioning which led to shortages of water in many of the areas because they could not adequately offer the service done by six pumps. This has led to economic problems because the water shortage led to crop failure of the entire season for the farmers thus the residents left their hometowns for the search of a better life.
Omar Al-Bashir had paid a visit to the sub county to celebrate the reopening of the water supply system in Adalli and Al-Mazmoom and said that the water sacristy problem would never return because of the establishment of a new dam called Abu-Gurude. This was not the case because Abu-Gurude dam collapsed just days after its opening costing the country millions.
The watering holes that were a source of both water and fish had also dried up thus depleting the already scarce resources.
