الأمن يسحب ترخيص مراسل (الشرق الأوسط) في السودان

أوقف جهاز الأمن بالخرطوم مراسل صحيفة "الشرق الأوسط" اللندنية بالخرطوم الأستاذ أحمد يونس وسحب ترخيصه " وقال "أوقفني جهاز الأمن عن الكتابة وسحب ترخيص وبطاقة الإعلام الخارجي الممنوحة لي". وأكد يونس أن خطوة الإيقاف وسحب الترخيص جاءت امتدادا لـ "عسف" بدأ بالاستدعاء والتهديد بسحب الترخيص. وابدى أسفه على ما تتعرض له الصحافة السودانية من حملات ممنهجة من قبل السلطات عبر المصادرة وتعليق الصدور والإيقاف.

Revocation of a Journalist’s license

National Security Intelligence revoked the journalist license of Ahmad Yunus, the editor in chief for the Khartoum branch of the London based Middle East Newspaper.
Ahmad reported that security Intelligence confiscated his license and forbade him from writing any more articles for the newspaper. He then expressed his disappointment at the government’s attempts to suppress the freedom of Press in Sudan through acts of violence against journalists, threats on their lives and arbitrary arrests.
