مقتل مزارع وإصابة 20 آخرين على يد قوات نظامية بغرب دارفور

لقي شخص مصرعه وأصيب 20 آخرين بجراح إثر تعرضهم لإطلاق نار من قوات نظامية بولاية غرب دارفور. وقال أحد ذوي القتيل ويدعى محمد يحيى خليل ،إن مجموعة من منسوبي قبيلة الزغاوة يمتهنون حرفة الزراعة ذهبوا الى مزارعهم في منطقة بين عاصمة الولاية الجنينة، ومنطقة "أدري" لتنظيف الأراضي غير أنهم وجدوا اعتراضا من رعاة إبل ينتمون لقبيلة الرزيقات.وأوضح أن المزارعين لجأوا لقوات نظامية تقيم مخيما بالقرب من المكان، لكن مشادات كلامية وقعت بين الشاكين والقوة النظامية، تطورت الى إطلاق نار عشوائي أدى لإصابة 21 من المزارعين، توفي منهم لاحقا شخص يدعى الطاهر عمر هاشم بينما نقل الآخرين الى مستشفى الأمير تاج الدين بعاصمة الولاية لتلقي العلاج.
Twenty Injured and one killed at the hands of government armed forces in West Darfur

Al-Tahir Omar Hashim, a sixty-five year old man was killed and twenty others were injured when government armed forces opened fire at them in Ginena, western Darfur. Muhammad Yahiya Khalil, a member of the Zagawa tribe said that a group of his relatives and tribe-mates went to clear their fields in preparation for the rainy season and were confronted by members of Al-Rizegat tribe who stopped them from going to their farms.
The Zagawa then went to an army encampment to file a complaint about the Al-Rizegat when arguments broke out between them and the army. The conflicts then resulted into the army opening fire on the farmers, killing one and injuring twenty others who were rushed to Al-Amir Taj-Adin Hospital for medical attention.
