24 محامى يطالبون مفوضية حقوق الإنسان بأتخاذ إجراءات لإطلاق سراح معتقلين

سلمت هيئة محامي دارفور مذكرة للمفوضية القومية لحقوق الإنسان حول إعتقال كل من الشيخ مطر يونس والشيخ يوسف محمد أبكر وإبعادهم من مدينتي زالنجي والجنينة بدارفور إلي الخرطوم وبورتسودان. وقالت الهيئة في المذكرة التي وقع عليها (24) محامياً ، أن شيخ مطر معتقل منذ الأول من أبريل الماضي حرم من محيطه الخارجي ولم يسمح لأسرته أو محاميه بمقابلته ، وهو يعاني من متاعب صحية كما تعاني أسرته والتي تضم عدداً من الأطفال من عدم وجود من يعولها وهو العائل الوحيد لأسرته بالمعتقل. وأكدت المذكرة أن الشيخين مطر ويوسف لم يرتكبا أي فعل من الأفعال المجرمة قانونا، وهما العاملان الوحيدان لأسرتيهما وإبعادهم من زالنجي الجنينة أدى إلى حرمان أسرتيهما من أسباب العيش والحياة الضرورية. وطالب المذكرة المفوضية باتخاذ الإجراءات الفورية اللازمة لكفالة إطلاق سراح شيخ مطر ويوسف محمد أبكر من دون قيد أو شرط. يذكر أن شيخ يوسف أبكر هو أمام وخطيب مسجد بالجنينة حي الشاطئ جرى اعتقاله في السادس من مايو الماضي بمدينة الجنينة.
24 Lawyers petition for the release of convicts

The firm of lawyers in Darfur gave the headquarters to human rights’ a petition that demanded the release of two convicts; Sheikh Mataar Yunus and Yusuf Muhammad Abu-Bakr who were detained and transferred from Zalingi and Jinenah to Port Sudan and Khartoum. One of the lawyers said that Sheikh Mataar was detained in the month of April and his lawyer and family were not allowed to visit him despite the fact that he had medical conditions that required constant attention.
The lawyers went to say in their petition that the detainees were the only breadwinners for their large families that are made up of many children, who have had no one to look after them during their time in detention.
The petition also demanded that the Human Rights’ Headquarters should do everything within their power to ensure the immediate release of the two men without any conditions attached. The two were innocent and had done nothing that warrantied such treatment, furthermore, Mataar Yunus was the religious leader of Jinenah mosque.
