السلطات المصرية تعتقل طالب سوداني بتهمة المشاركة في تظاهرات

أعربت أسرة الطالب السوداني، وليد عبد الرحمن حسن سليمان، عن قلقها على مصير ابنها المعتقل بالقاهرة، بعد أن تداول ناشطون على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي فيديو تم تسجيله على قناة (MBC مصر) خلال برنامج يقدمه الإعلامي عمر أديب، عنوانه: اعترافات السوداني وليد عبد الرحمن حسن، بمشاركته في المظاهرات الأخوانية ضد النظام في السودان. وأوضح الأستاذ أبو الزاكي عميد أسرة الطالب لل(SUNN)، إنهم تفاجأوا بتداول وسائل إعلام مصرية فيديو مسجل يظهرفيه نجلهم، وتؤكد الأسرة أن وليد طالب يدرس في جامعة أمدرمان الأهلية، كلية الاقتصاد، المستوى الثالث، قسم المحاسبة، وقد سافر إلى القاهرة لدراسة اللغة الألمانية، بعد تطاول فترة تعليق الدراسة بالجامعات السودانية، وليس له أي انتماء سياسي. وتعرب الأسرة عن بالغ قلقها على مصير ابنها، وتبدي إستعدادها للتواصل مع الجهات الرسمية في البلدين لتأكيد براءته، كما تطالب السلطات المختصة وخاصة وزارة الخارجية بالتدخل لإنقاذ واحد من رعاياها.
من جهتها أعلنت سفارة السودان لدى القاهرة، شروعها في اتصالات مع السلطات المصرية، والجهات ذات الصلة، لمعرفة ملابسات احتجاز الطالب وليد عبد الرحمن. وأكدت السفارة في بيان، "حرصها على سلامة المحتجز، ومتابعتها اللصيقة لقضيته من باب مسؤوليتها عن الرعايا السودانيين في الأراضي المصرية". وأكد تجمع المهنيين السودانيين، أنه يتابع ما حدث للسوداني وليد من خلال الفيديو الذي تم تداوله في وسائل الإعلام المصرية بشكل مشين وغير أخلاقي، ولا يمت للمهنية بصلة.

Egyptian authorities detain Sudanese student on charge of participating in demonstrations

Family of the Sudanese student, Waleed Abdul Rahman Hassan, expressed concern over the fate of their son who is detained in Cairo. Activists circulated on the social media platforms a video from an MBC programme presented by Omer Adeep under the caption: Sudanese student Waleed Abdul Rahman Hassan admits participation in brotherhood demonstrations against the regime in Sudan. Representative of the family of the student, Abu Al Zaki, told SuNN that they were surprised by the circulation on the Egyptian media a video about their son. The family stated that Waleed is studying in Omdurman Ahlia University, faculty of economics, 3rd year accounting, and he travelled to Cairo to study German language after the protracted closure of the Sudanese universities, and he has no political affiliations. He said “the family is extremely concerned over the fate of their son, and stands ready to communicate with official authorities in the two countries to prove his innocence. The family also calls on the competent authorities particularly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to intervene to save its national”.

For its part, the Sudanese Embassy in Cairo said it embarked upon contacts with Egyptian authorities and other relevant bodies to find out about the circumstances leading to the detention of the student Waleed Abdul Rahman. In statement, the Embassy affirms its concern with the safety of the detained Sudanese national, saying it will closely follow on this issue out of responsibility for its Sudanese nationals on Egyptian soil”. The Sudanese Professionals Association also said it was following the issue of the Sudanese national based on the video circulated by the Egyptian media outlets in an inappropriate, unscrupulous and unprofessional manner.
