حمدوك يصدر قراراً بتشكيل لجنة تحقيق مستقلة في أحداث فض اعتصام القيادة

أصدر رئيس الوزراء السوداني عبد الله حمدوك السبت قراراً بتشكيل لجنة تحقيق مستقلة، لتتولى التحقيق في فض اعتصام القيادة العامة بالخرطوم، الذي أدى لمقتل عشرات المعتصمين سلمياً وإصابة المئات في الثالث من يونيو الماضي. ولم يُسّمِ القرار أعضاء اللجنة واكتفى بتحديد عددهم كسبعة أعضاء يرأسهم قاضي من المحكمة العليا، وممثلين من وزارات العدل والدفاع والداخلية، إضافة إلى ثلاث شخصيات مستقلة. وحدد القرار ثلاثة أشهر سقفاً زمنيا لإنجاز مهام اللجنة، على أن يمدد لها فترة مماثلة إذا اقتضت الضرورة ذلك، وأن تعمل باستقلال تام عن أي جهة حكومية أو عدلية أو قانونية. وأوضح قرار تشكيل اللجنة أن لها الحق في الاستعانة بمن تراه مناسبا، بما في ذلك الاستعانة بدعم أفريقي وغيره، وتُسلَّم الشكاوى من الضحايا وأولياء الدم والممثلين القانونيين.
Prime Minister sets up committee to probe sit-in break up

Sudanese Prime Minister, Abdullah Hamdouk, issued a decision on Saturday forming an independent committee to probe the incident of the sit-in dispersal at the army headquarters, which left scores of peaceful protesters dead and hundreds others injured on 3 June last. The decision did not elaborate about names but said their number is seven chaired by a high court justice, besides representatives from the Ministries of Justice, Defence and Interior as well as three independent personalities. According to the decree, the investigation is required to be completed within three months with possible extension of mandate if needed, and the committee will work independently from any governmental, judicial or legal body. The decree also explained that the committee will have the right to seek the assistance of anybody it deems fit including from African bodies and receive complaints from victims, blood relatives and legal representatives.
