مقتل ثلاثة مزارعين في “شنقل طوباي” على يد جماعة مسلحة

لقي ثلاثة مزارعين مصرعهم رمياً بالرصاص على أيدي مجموعة مسلحة من الرعاة، وجرح آخر في منطقة (شنقل طوباي) بولاية شمال دارفور. وتعود تفاصيل الحادث إلى إدخال الرعاة ماشيتهم في مزارع النازحين غرب “شنقل طوباي” وأفاد الناشط الحقوقي “هيثم سلفا” لـ(SUNN) أحد أبناء المنطقة، إن الرعاة قتلوا ثلاثة مزارعين وجرحوا آخر أثناء إخراج الماشية من المزارع التي يرى الرعاة أن تكون فارغة من أي نشاط لأغراض الرعي. وتعقبت النجدة أثر الجناة إلى أن وصلت المنطقة وتحفز الطرفان للقتال، غير أن عمدة المنطقة التزم بتسليم الجناة إلى العدالة، ووصلت القوات النظامية إلى موقع الحدث وفصلت بين الجانبين. ورفض ذوو القتلى دفن الجثث إلا بعد حضور حكومة الولاية إلى موقع الحادث. وأضاف ناشطون إن هذه الأحداث متكررة في المنطقة، إلا أن الإعلام هو من أجبر السلطات على التحرك واحتواء الموقف.

Armed herders kill three farmers in Shangil Tobai area

Three farmers were gunned down by a group of armed herders, and a fourth was injured, in the North Darfur area of Shangil Tobai. The herders grazed their animals on farms of the displaced persons located west of the area. A resident of the area and rights activist, Haythan Salva, told SuNN that the herders killed three farmers and wounded a fourth one when they attempted to prevent animals from grazing on their farms. The herders claim the farms should be empty for the purpose of grazing. Trackers caught up with the attackers and the two parties took positions for a fight but a tribal leader intervened and convinced the rescuers that he would hand over the perpetrators. Organized forces were rushed to the area to control the situation. Activists said such incidents have become frequent but media forced authorities to move to contain situations.
