حمى الضنك بكسلا

أقرت ممثلة منظمة الصحة العالمية بالسودان د. نعيمة القصير، بارتفاع حالات الإصابة بحمى الضنك والشيكونقونيا وحمى الوادي المتصدع والإسهالات المائية بولاية كسلا رغم جهود المكافحة التي بُذلت، أعلنت وزارة الصحة السودانية، أن جملة الإصابة بحمى الضنك 135 إصابة، في 3 ولايات بالبلاد (من أصل 18 ولاية) وهي كسلا والبحر الأحمر (شرق) وشمال دارفور (غرب).و أرجعت ذلك لأمور تتعلق بسلوك المواطنين أنفسهم تجاه مصادر المياه التي أصبحت مرتع خصب لتوالد البعوض، وطالبت في ورشة بالخرطوم المواطنين باستخدام (النواميس) الواقية والتعامل مع مصادر المياه بطرق علمية.

Outbreak of Dengue fever in Kassala

WHO representative, Dr. Naeema El Gaseer, has acknowledged the increase of cases of dengue fever, Chikungunya, rift valley fever and watery diarrhea in Kassala State despite the ongoing efforts to combat the diseases. Meanwhile, the Sudanese Ministry of Health announced that the total number of cases of dengue fever reached 135 in 3 of 18 Sudanese States, these are Kassala, Red Sea and North Darfur, and attributed the causes to the citizens’ manner of using water sources, turning them into hotbeds for mosquito multiplication. At a workshop in Khartoum, she called on citizens to use mosquito nets and to use water sources in a proper manner.
