Soldiers of the Rapid Support Forces assault a girl in Kassala.

Two soldiers of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) assaulted a girl named Naba in Al-Marganihya neighborhood in the city of Kassala, under the pretext of raping her. As Naba was struggling to defend herself, a shopkeeper working in a shop nearby the girl’s house named Mustafa Damblab, saw the scuffle and attempted to dissuade the soldiers from raping her. Naba and Mr. Damblab were subsequently shot by the two soldiers and transferred to the emergency room in Kassala Hospital. An eye witness said that “eight military SUVs were driving by the hospital while the victims were inside”. The eye witness added that the perpetrators were identified and criminal charges have been brought against them.

جنديان من قوات الدعم السريع يتحرشون بفتاة تدعى نبأ سعيد بمدينة كسلا في حي الميرغنية بغرض اغتصابها،وكانت الفتاة تحاول جاهدة الدفاع عن نفسها، فرآهم صاحب بقالة بالقرب من منزل عائلة الفتاة يدعى مصطفى دمبلاب حاول اثنائهم عن ملاحقة الفتاة ،فاطلقوا النار عليه وعلي الفتاة أصيبوا بجراح تم نقلهم لمستشفى كسلا التعليمي قسم الحوادث لتلقي العلاج. وأفاد شاهد " أن ثمانية عرباتِ دفع رباعيّ عسكرية كانت تجوب الشوارع حول مستشفى كسلا التعليميّ أثناء تواجد الضحايا بالمستشفى" ويضيف الشاهد تم التعرف على المعتدين وفتح في مواجهتهم بلاغ جنائي.
