حريق يقضي على “4” معسكرات للنازحين بالضعين

شب حريق هائل بمعسكرات النازحين في ولاية شرق دارفور بحي السكة حديد شمال الضعين، قضى على 4 معسكرات هي (دبنقا ، العديد ، قرناية وأم سعونة) مسببا خسائر كبيرة في الممتلكات دون وقوع ضحايا في الأرواح. فيما كشف أحد مشايخ معسكر اللاجئين عن غياب سيارات الإطفاء طوال ساعات الحريق ، وذكر بأن من تضرروا لا يقلون عن (خمسة ألف ) أسرة وأن الحصر الأولي للخسائر يقدر ب 40 مليار جنيه بينهما 50 دكان ومحلاً تجاري .كما لا تزال أسباب الحريق مجهولة.
Fire burns down four refugee camps at Ed Da’ein
17th March, 2018
Massive fires destroyed four refugee settlements northeast of Darfur, in the railway village, north of Ed Da’ein. The camps burned down included; Dabanga, Garnaba, Al-Uddaid and Um-Saduna. This resulted in the loss of property worth forty billion pound, fifty shops and a trading center; and also affecting five thousand families though fortunately, no soul was lost.
The chief in charge of these camps reported that there was neither a fire brigade nor fire trucks that came to help dowse the flames, so it was up the civilians’ joint effort that they were able to put out the fire. The cause of the fire is still yet to be known.
