لقي شخصين مصرعهم وأصيب ثمانية أخرين بجراح جراء اشتباك بالاسلحة البيضاء (السكاكين ) بين شباب من منطقة كريو التابعة لمحلية بحر العرب بولاية شرق دارفور وتعود أسباب الاشتباك حول رقم هاتف فتاة. وأبلغ شيخ قرية (كريو) الدليل عبدالكريم بوقوع أعمال عنف واسعة استخدم فيها السلاح الأبيض - السكاكين والعصي - بين فخذين من قبيلة الرزيقات بسبب ايجاد أحد أقرباء الفتاة رقم هاتفها في جوال شاب آخر خلال تواجد الأثنان في مورد للمياه (دونكي)، ودار نقاش حاد انتهى الى مواجهات بينهما و اقربائهم المتواجدين في المورد، ما أسفر عن مقتل رجلين وجرح ثمانية آخرين بجراح ، نُقلوا الى مستشفى الضعين لتلقي العلاج.
Eight injured and two killed over a phone number found in a girl’s cellphone

Two men died and eight were injured after a fight that broke out among the youth in Craigo, a suburb in Bahr- Al Arab, in East Darfur. The misunderstanding that caused this coffle was over a phone number that was discovered in a girl’s cellphone belonging to a man, whose family, hers was having disputes with. Though both families belong to the Al-Rizegat tribe, they were of different households.
The chief in charge of the area, Adalil Abdul-Karim said that the fight broke out when both families were out fetching water from the local well; and sticks and knives were the weapons used to inflict the injuries suffered by both parties. The causalities of the fight were later taken to Ed Da’ein Hospital for treatment.
The fight grew from being a small family misunderstanding to tribal matter since it escalated the dispute between the families thus; it needed resolution before becoming a cause for war between the two.
