الشرطة تلقى القبض على 148 طالب بجامعة كردفان

داهمت شرطة شمال كردفان برتل من السيارات وبمساندة ثلاث عربة مدرعة داخلية شيكان التابعة لجماعة كردفان . حيث اعتقلوا 148 طالباً تم اعتقالهم ونقلهم الى حراسات الشركة حيث أودعوا في ثلاث أقسام للشرطة في كل من القسم الشرقي والقسم الغربي قسم أمن المجتمع. فيما لا يزال 50 طالب في إعداد المفقودين .
وصرح متحدث بإسم صندوق رعاية الطلاب "أنه أبلغ الطلاب مغادرة السكن الجامعى قبل خمس أيام لغرض الصيانة .
فيما تمسك الطلاب بالبقاء بسبب إرتفاع أسعار التذاكر وناشد الطلاب الصندوق تأجيل الصيانة الي بعد رمضان فيما رفض الصندوق المقترح. وأوضح المحامي علي ابو القاسم عضو هيئة الدفاع عن الطلاب المقبوض عليهم فتحت في مواجهتهم تهم جنائية تتعلق بالتعدى الجنائي والإخلال بالسلامة العامة .وأكد أن هيئة الدفاع ستتقدم بطلب إلى جهات الإختصاص لشطب البلاغ وإطلاق سراح الطلاب.

The office of student welfare and financial aid at Kurd-fan University requested that the students evacuate their residential hostels so that maintenance and repairs could be made in their residences. The students refused to abide by this because could not leave the hostels as the transport fares back to their homes were too high. The student representative then requested that the maintenance be postpone to after the month of Ramadhan.
The police, in a convoy of three cars came to the hostels and arrested 148 students and detained them in three different police stations. Some students were taken to the Eastern police station, others were taken to the Western branch and the rest were taken to the Public security center where they were charged with Public disorder and threatening of the public peace.
Ali Abu Al-Gasim, one of the lawyers representing the students said that they were requesting a petition so that the case against them could be dropped and the students be released.
Despite this, 50 of the detained students are still missing.
