قدمت هيئة محامي دارفور مذكرة لمفوضية حقوق الإنسان القومية طالبت فيها المفوضية التحري حول اعتقال الطفل احمد عبد الرحيم البالغ من العمر 16 سنة من قبل جهاز الأمن يوم 31 يناير الماضي من أمام منزلهم ببحري والعمل على إطلاق سراحه. وعبرت أسرة الطفل عن قلقها عليه بعد أن تم الاعتداء عليه بالضرب عند اعتقاله من أمام منزل الأسرة. وأضافت عائلة الطفل " إن الأجهزة الأمنية لم توضح لهم حتى الآن أسباب ومكان اعتقاله كما لم تسمح للأسرة بزيارة . وطالبت الهيئة في مذكرتها إطلاق سراح الطفل أحمد فورا وعبرت عن بالغ أسفها للطريقة التي انتهكت بها كرامة الطفل أحمد ومصادرة حقوقه.
