إستخدمت قوات الشرطة العنف المفرط ضد طالبات و طلاب جامعة دنقلا- كلية الآداب بكريمة ، مستخدمة الهراوات والعصي والضرب لتفريق اعتصام سلمي أقامه طلاب الكلية تنديداً بفقدان ممتلكاتهم . فيما اعتقل عناصر من جهاز الأمن سبع من الطلاب بينهم عبدالرحيم مصطفى جدو ، الفاتح عبدالله ، باسم عبدالله ، يوسف دفع الله ومحمد صلاح الأمين العام لرابطة طلاب حلفا والسكوت والمحس بالكلية

The security Intelligence arrest seven students of Dongola University, Karima city

The students of the liberal arts section of the Dongola University were having a peaceful protest when the police arrived and used brutal force to disperse them. They were protesting the loss of their personal property when the police used teargas and batons to disperse of the crowds.
The Security Intelligence officers later came in and arrested seven of the students. Some of those arrested were, Abdul-Rahim Mustafa Jiddu, Alfateh Abdullah, Basiim Abdullah, Yusuf Duff-Allah and Muhammad Salah who was the General secretary of the Students Union of Halpha, Sukkot and Mahas at the university.
